A New First

My oldest son has been asking to go off the diving board since pool season started.  I have put him off because trying to make that happen when I’m there by myself is just not a good thing.  Well today Dad accompanied us to the pool and Kason finally got his chance.  The first time he jumped off the side of the diving board and it nearly stopped my heart… I was afraid he was going to hit the side of the pool.  Dad quickly explained to him that he needed to jump forward to keep from hitting the side.  After that small heart stopper he took to it like a pro.  He had so much fun with his first jumps off the board.
