Independence Day
Well today is the day. It’s the start of the 180.
I love this day. This is the day that we celebrate the birth of this wonderful nation we are a part of. It is the day when we must remember all that has been lost, gained and sacrificed for us to live free. So I decided to start this post off with a video. Every time I watch it I am touched deeply for the valiant men who lost their lives holding up our flag. I am so grateful to them for their sacrifice so many years ago so that a nation, our nation, could me born.
And on this day my family joined a veteran on the bridge to wave a flag. I want my children to understand the importance of being a Patriot and to have a deep devotion to God and country. Loving their flag and taking pride in being an American. We may just find ourselves doing this every year.
